A New Chapter for the Hudson Business Coalition

The Hudson Business Coalition (HBCi) is proud to announce Billy Blowers as its newly appointed President. A dedicated member of the organization for the past seven years, Blowers has served in several key leadership roles, including Treasurer and Membership Director. His long-standing involvement and commitment to Hudson’s business community position him well to lead the Coalition into its next phase of growth.

“I’m honored to take on this role and continue the work of strengthening Hudson’s vibrant business landscape,” said Blowers. “It’s been a privilege to serve alongside so many passionate local business owners, and I look forward to building on the momentum we’ve created together.”

Blowers succeeds Alexandre Petraglia, who has served as President for the past five years. Under Petraglia’s leadership, HBCi strengthened its role as a driving force for collaboration, visibility, and support among Hudson’s business and cultural communities.

“I’m stepping down as President to relocate to the Capital Region,” said Petraglia. “But I remain deeply inspired by the creativity, resilience, and spirit of Hudson’s entrepreneurs. I encourage all members of the business community to stay engaged with HBCi—it’s more important now than ever.”

To mark this leadership transition and foster continued engagement, HBCi invites members and community supporters to a Business After Hours event on Tuesday, April 29 from 6–8 p.m. at Park Theater. Attendees will have the opportunity to meet the HBCi Board, network with fellow members, and share ideas for the organization’s future.

In addition, HBCi has opened ad sales for the 2025 Hudson Walking Guide, one of the city’s most popular and widely distributed publications. More information is available at visithudsonny.com/walkingguide.
