Hudson Business Coalition [HBCi] is so pleased to announce the release of the new 2024 edition of the ‘Welcome to Hudson NY’ Walking Guide ahead of the long holiday weekend! Starting today, you’ll be able to find the new Walking Guide at all your favorite Hudson-area shops and galleries; hotels, inns, and B&Bs; restaurants, cafes, and bars; and cultural institutions.
Each year, HBCi produces the Walking Guide for the benefit of Hudson’s small business community. This release marks the 12th edition of the Walking Guide since 2011, and is the culmination of a combined hundred hours of work by HBCi’s all volunteer board.
This year, we wanted to highlight the many family-friendly options here in Hudson, including beloved destinations like Rebus, PlayPop, Little Pickles and the FASNY Museum of Firefighting— and for that reason, we’re featuring local mother and daughter duo Brianna Fingar and Bella Fingar-Joyce as this year’s cover models!
In addition, we asked local illustrator and children’s book author Esme Shaprio to create an original map of Hudson for our centerfold spread in her signature style full of whimsy and wonder— mermaids, whales, and sailboats galore!
