Hudson Business Coalition Sponsors First-Ever Hudson Oktoberfest, Organized by Upper Depot Brewing Co.

Hudson Oktoberfest

Hudson Business Coalition [HBCi] is pleased to be sponsoring the first-ever Hudson Oktoberfest, happening this Saturday, October 7, from 2-6pm at 708 State St. in Hudson.

Tickets to the event are available online through Eventbrite.

HBCi provided in-kind marketing valued at over $1200 to the organizers, led by Upper Depot Brewing Co., including sponsored content with Chronogram, social posts, and a dedicated email blast to VisitHudsonNY subscribers.

“Ever since we started planning the brewery it has been a dream of ours to do something similar in Hudson,” said Aaron Maas, who opened Upper Depot last year with business partner, Monty Bopp. “About 5 or 6 years ago, I went to the Oktoberfest in Albany and I had one of the best times of my life up there. I wanted to give something like that back to Hudson.”

Attendees will get to enjoy beer and cider from the following participants…

…as well as delicious food from Whale Belly Food Truck, Reconnect Food Truck, and the Isaan Thai Star Pop-Up.

“When we first found out about Hudson Oktoberfest from Monty at Upper Depot Brewing Co., we knew right away it was something we wanted to get behind,” says Alexandre J. Petraglia, Hudson Business Coalition (HBCi) president. “We love it when Hudson’s small business owners come together to devise new and inventive ways to partner with one another and attract visitors and locals alike to our city through events and promotions like this one—and we do everything we can to support their efforts.”

The newly opened Union Street Brewing will be hosting an afterparty for attendees, beginning at 6pm.

Prost! 🍻
